Magnificat Antiphon

Melodically, the Antiphon is fairly elaborate, frequently featuring neumatic (and occasionally melismatic) motion. The range is large, spanning the tenth from d' to f''.  The text parallism is evident in this example; the two Magnificat antiphons share certain words and pay particular attention to vowel positions. The Magnificat is a reconstruction based on the differentiae indicated at the end of the antiphon on folio 18v, as the full chant is not notated in the manuscript.
