Creative Combinations: Chained Flowers

Flowers and chains occasinally appeare in creative combinations that testify to the affinity of line-fillers with the categories of grammar and syntax. Scribes could combine individual elements in order to produce more complex "sentences" with novel degrees of visual appeal. In this way, the small repertoire of schemes no longer needed to be an obstacle to diversity and creativity.
